Pete Wild admits Hartlepool United don't have scope to add to squad despite Jack Earing's departure

"Jack going back doesn't really help the case. We've got to try and get more out of the people we've got in the building at the moment."

Pete Wild admits he does not currently have the scope to add to his Hartlepool United squad despite the departure of Jack Earing.

The 27-year-old became Wild's first Pools signing earlier this month when he joined on an initial short-term loan from fellow National League side Barrow but has returned to Holker Street after making just one appearance in the North East.

The attacking-midfielder played the opening 55 minutes of the much-needed win over Forest Green Rovers, Wild's first victory since replacing Lee Clark as head coach at the beginning of October, before sustaining an injury to his foot.
