Brooklyn llunga confident Hartlepool United are 'pushing in the right direction' under Pete Wild

"We've had a few downs but since the new gaffer and the new staff have come in, everyone's rolled their sleeves up. We're in this together, we're pushing in the right direction."

Brooklyn Ilunga believes Hartlepool United are "pushing in the right direction" under Pete Wild.

Pools, who were touted as possible National League title contenders ahead of the new campaign, have endured a nightmarish start to the season, losing 10 of their opening 15 matches, and are only above the relegation zone on goal difference.

Having won each of their opening two games without conceding, a dismal run of results has seen Pools plunge down the table and towards the bottom four.

Indeed, Pools are at significant risk of dropping back into the relegation zone this weekend as they gear up for perhaps their toughest test of the entire season, a trip to unbeaten league leaders Boreham Wood.
