Solihull Moors 1-2 Southend United
Lots to like about experienced Solihull manager Chris Millington, who led Halifax Town to back-to-back National League play-off finishes, but the Moors have endured a nightmarish start to the new campaign, losing both of their opening matches and conceding seven goals in the process. The Shrimpers, meanwhile, took a calculated risk by replacing popular boss Kevin Maher with the altogether untested Kieron Dyer over the summer and the Essex outfit have won both of their first two games this term.
Kidderminster Harriers 1-1 Aldershot Town
Having been thrashed by fellow newly-promoted side Hornchurch on the opening day, Kidderminster responded with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Eastleigh last time out. Aldershot, who have been tipped by many to struggle this term, got the better of well-fancied Boston United before being narrowly edged out by Hartlepool United last Saturday. Difficult to split them.
