Luke Charman - 'a great feeling' to score winner in Hartlepool United's comeback victory over Hornchurch

"The feeling now is we want to go and win three in a row. We can't be resting, we can't be taking our foot off the gas."

Luke Charman admitted it was "a great feeling" after he came on to score Hartlepool United's winning goal in Saturday's dramatic victory over newly-promoted Hornchurch.

The 28-year-old, who has endured a frustrating campaign blighted by injuries so far, produced a superb finish from the edge of the box just five minutes after being introduced from the bench as Pools recorded back-to-back National League wins for the first time since the beginning of August.

Charman, a popular figure at Victoria Park, replaced veteran Jordan Hugill with 15 minutes of normal time remaining and beat the despairing Arthur Nasta in the Hornchurch goal with a brilliant first-time strike after determined play from the outstanding Nathan Sheron.
