Is this how Hartlepool United could line up ahead of Eastleigh clash?

Goalkeeper: Max Merrick

After Nathan Fisher endured a difficult afternoon deputising for the injured Merrick during the defeat to Sutton at the weekend, Lee Clark's side will be keenly hoping that the young Chelsea loanee is fit enough to return to the starting XI ahead of the visit of the Spitfires. Having been so impressive in the opening two National League games this season, keeping successive clean sheets and drawing widespread praise for his confidence, command of his area as well as his composure when dealing with balls into his box, Pools sorely missed the 20-year-old in South London. While Pools profess to be confident about his chances of being passed fit, the final decision could well rest with parent club Chelsea.
