Rose Stoker - Hartlepool United 'really proud' of improvements to Victoria Park pitch

"There's been a lot of work, but actually it's been a lot of fun as well. The staff have been really responsive to the increasing demands because they understand it's for a worthwhile cause, a cause worth working hard for."

Hartlepool United's commercial and operations director Rose Stoker says the club are "really proud" of the new pitch at Victoria Park.

Head groundsman Dave Brown, a hugely popular figure in the North East, won several individual accolades while the club were in the Football League, with the Pools pitch receiving widespread acclaim.
