Hartlepool United defender Reiss McNally admits Pools are in confident mood ahead of Saturday's long trip to Hampshire to take on Aldershot Town.
Pools made the perfect start to their new National League campaign last week by beating well-fancied Barrow 2-0 and Lee Clark's side will be hoping to maintain their 100 per cent record at Aldershot's Recreation Ground.
Having welcomed 14 new additions over the summer, Pools are among the favourites to be crowned champions this term and the importance of a fast start is difficult to overstate.
Standing in their way in Hampshire on Saturday are a Shots side who have themselves undergone a summer of change, with Slough Town boss Scott Davies replacing the veteran John Coleman in the dugout at the end of April.
