Pete Wild calls on Hartlepool United to travel to AFC Fylde with 'sheer confidence' as Pools look to record third successive league win

Head coach Pete Wild has called on his Hartlepool United players to make the trip to AFC Fylde full of "sheer confidence" as Pools look to record three successive National League wins for the first time this season.
After enduring a dismal run of 10 defeats in 12 matches - that's excluding National League Cup games, of which Pools have lost all three this term - Wild's side will make the midweek trip to Lancashire having recorded back-to-back league wins for the first time since the beginning of August.
While victories over managerless Forest Green Rovers and newly-promoted Hornchurch were intersected by an ignominious FA Cup exit at the hands of National League North side Marine, there are signs that Pools are heading in the right direction under Wild.
