Hartlepool United have made three changes ahead of Tuesday night's trip to AFC Fylde, with Luke Charman lining up against his former side and Adam Smith starting in goal.

Pools are looking to record three successive National League victories for the first time since March against a Coasters outfit who have made an encouraging start to the campaign and sit seventh.

Charman, who scored eight goals in 29 games for the Lancashire side in the 2023/24 season and bagged the winner during Saturday's remarkable comeback victory over Hornchurch, starts up front alongside Will Harris. Charman, who is set for just his second start of a campaign that has been blighted by injuries, replaces veteran Jordan Hugill in the XI.
