New Hartlepool United striker Will Harris is gearing up for a "big season" after he became the club's seventh summer signing over the weekend.
The signing of Harris represents a real statement of intent by Pools, who are currently ranked as the 5/1 second favourites to be crowned National League champions next term.
The club are understood to have fended off significant competition for the frontman, who scored an impressive 25 goals in 46 games for Halifax Town last season.
The 25-year-old, who was born in South Shields and spent time on trial at Victoria Park in 2022, is believed to have been at the top of the club's list of priorities all summer but there could still be more drama to come as far as the deal is concerned.
