New Hartlepool United signing Terry Bondo revealed he was relishing the prospect of playing in front of Pools fans after the teenage striker became the club's ninth summer recruit.

The towering youngster joins Pools after leaving League One side Blackpool, where he made 11 senior appearances, and has penned an initial one-year deal, with the club holding an option to extend his stay by another 12 months.

The 19-year-old arrives having already accrued some valuable senior experience thanks to spells with Matlock Town and Marine, while he found the net five times in 17 games during a productive stint with National League North side King's Lynn Town last term.

"I'm absolutely delighted to be joining Pools," Bondo told the official club website.
