New Hartlepool United signing Owen Hampson is determined to prove himself at Victoria Park.
The 21-year-old becomes the club's fifth summer signing, following in the footsteps of Jordan Hugill, Brooklyn Ilunga, Jack Nolan and Corey McKeown, after leaving Sheffield United.
The young midfielder, who is a Wales youth international, spent a decade in Manchester United's academy before signing for the Blades in January 2021.
Hampson would go on to establish himself as one of the club's most promising young talents, playing an instrumental role in the club's Professional Development League title-winning under-18 side before progressing to the under-21s, helping them secure the Professional Development North title. Hampson penned his first professional contract at Bramall Lane in 2023.
