Hartlepool United head coach Lee Clark admits defender Liam Gibson has "a good chance" of being available for Saturday's long trip to Aldershot Town.
The 29-year-old was a surprise inclusion in the starting XI ahead of last week's commanding 2-0 win over well-fancied Barrow on the opening day of the new National League season, partnering Reiss McNally in the heart of the Pools defence.
The versatile defender, who can operate at centre-half or left-back, produced an assured showing on his competitive Pools debut before being forced off after feeling some tightness in his hamstring after 61 minutes.
