Lee Clark slammed "awful" Hartlepool United's display during Friday's 2-0 defeat to Kidderminster Harriers as "the worst performance of the whole campaign".
Having ended a dismal run of three successive defeats thanks to a battling 1-0 win over Woking, Pools made the trip to Worcestershire looking to build up some much-needed momentum against a Kidderminster team who were promoted from the National League North via the play-offs last term.
Yet Pools, who were touted as possible title contenders ahead of the new campaign, suffered their fourth defeat in their last five matches as Clark's side slumped to 14th in the National League table.
