Lee Clark reveals Luke Charman and Owen Hampson 'nowhere near' Hartlepool United return

Hartlepool United head coach Lee Clark has revealed that Luke Charman and Owen Hampson are "nowhere near" a return to fitness.

Pools, who suffered a third successive defeat at the hands of Halifax Town on Tuesday evening, haven't had much luck with injuries in the opening weeks of the new National League campaign.

Liam Gibson, who started the opening day win over Barrow, missed the subsequent trip to Aldershot Town after trudging off against the Bluebirds while both highly-rated goalkeeper Max Merrick and influential attacker Jack Nolan were ruled out against Sutton United, the club's first defeat of the new season.
