Hartlepool United head coach Lee Clark felt the second half introduction of Nathan Sheron helped his side gain "control" in midfield during Saturday's battling 1-0 victory over Aldershot Town.
With Clark determined to implement an all-action, aggressive and high pressing brand of football at Victoria Park this term, Pools have started each of their first two National League matches with an attack-minded 4-4-2 formation.
While that worked well enough during the 2-0 win over Barrow on the opening day of the new campaign, it proved less effective in the first half of Saturday's clash with the Shots.
