Hartlepool United head coach Lee Clark insists his side are "not actively looking" to strengthen their squad any further.
Having released 13 players at the end of another underwhelming National League campaign in May, Pools enjoyed an extremely productive summer and welcomed 14 new recruits ahead of the 2026/27 season.
After enduring well-documented struggles in front of goal last term - indeed, Pools were among the National League's lowest scorers, failing to find the net in 15 of their 49 matches in all competitions - adding creativity and firepower was right at the top of Clark and new head of recruitment Chris Beech's long list of priorities.
