"They're not ruled out, we're hopeful. With them being kicks and twists, sometimes you can recover quicker. It's difficult to put a timescale on those sorts of things, especially with Corey's where he's taken a whack on the top of his foot."

Hartlepool United head coach Lee Clark admits he's "hopeful" Corey McKeown and Maxim Kouogun might be fit enough to face Woking on Saturday.

Pools, who are looking to end a run of three successive defeats at the weekend, were without both McKeown and Kouogun for Tuesday night's miserable 1-0 loss to Halifax Town.

Certainly, Pools missed the pair in West Yorkshire, with Kouogun's replacement Liam Gibson having his pocket picked in the lead up to Halifax's winning goal while the visitors struggled to create much in the way of clear-cut openings as they looked for a route back into the game.
