Hartlepool United head coach Lee Clark has said "there's no more money" to bring in new signings following his side's concerning recent dip in form.
Having started the new National League campaign with back-to-back victories over Barrow and Aldershot Town, Pools have suffered three successive defeats and are already struggling to keep pace with their potential promotion rivals.
After being well-beaten by a physical Sutton United side, Nelson Khumbeni's thunderous 97th minute strike condemned Clark's team to a second straight loss at home to Eastleigh on Friday night.
