Hartlepool United head coach Lee Clark believes his side have the right balance between youth and experience following an encouraging start to the new National League season.
Pools are one of six teams to have won each of their first two matches this term, getting the better of relegated Barrow on the opening day before edging past Aldershot Town on Saturday.
While Pools welcomed 14 new recruits over the summer, several experienced players remained from the 2025/26 campaign including the likes of Jack Hunter, who was appointed as the club's new captain earlier this month, Nathan Sheron, who has made 90 appearances at Victoria Park since signing from Oldham Athletic in 2024, Reiss McNally, Maxim Kouogun, Cameron John, Jay Benn and Luke Charman.
