Hartlepool United head coach Lee Clark admits the recent hot weather has "absolutely" impacted how his side prepare for games.
Pools overcame an uncertain start to edge past Aldershot Town 1-0 on Saturday, making Clark's side one of six teams to have won both of their first two National League matches this season.
While Aldershot's Hakeem Sandah, Basil Tuma and Dominic Odusanya caused Pools plenty of problems in the first half at the Recreation Ground, the sweltering Hampshire sunshine made life difficult for both teams.
Of course, it's absolutely true that the conditions are the same for both sides but the nearly 30 degrees celsius temperatures certainly make it difficult for Clark to implement his high energy, aggressive and attacking style of play.
