Former Hartlepool United attacker Jonathan Franks believes Raj Singh will leave a "mixed" legacy following a series of "questionable decisions" towards the end of his tumultuous tenure.
While Pools are in the early stages of an exciting new era under American businessman and investor Landon Smith, the legacy controversial former owner Singh leaves behind is likely to remain the subject of considerable debate for some time to come.
On the one hand, Singh deserves huge credit for stepping in to stave off the threat of looming administration and even potential footballing oblivion when he took charge of the club following an ill-fated association with bitter rivals Darlington.
