Former Hartlepool United attacker Jonathan Franks believes Jordan Hugill has "plenty to offer" Pools next season after the veteran striker sealed a return to Victoria Park more than a decade after a memorable loan spell.
Franks, who scored 23 goals in 163 games for Pools, was a teammate of Hugill's during the memorable 'great escape' season in the 2014/15 campaign.
With Pools cut adrift at the bottom of League Two, the inspired appointment of the legendary Ronnie Moore as well as several shrewd loan signings saw the club pull off a remarkable escape from relegation.
