Hartlepool United club president Jeff Stelling believes Pools could have one of the National League's strongest back lines this season.
Pools, who have won both of their first two matches, are one of just two teams in the fifth tier yet to have conceded a goal so far this term.
Intriguingly, Lee Clark's side are set to go head to head with the other team still to have been breached at this weekend as Pools gear up for another long trip, this time to South London to take on Chris Agutter's Sutton United.
While Pools survived a late scare on Saturday after Aldershot Town striker Marcus Dinanga, who failed to score in 15 matches during a loan spell at Victoria Park in the 2018/19 season, blazed a woeful penalty well over Max Merrick's crossbar in the 87th minute, Clark's side have looked rock solid defensively in the opening weeks of the new campaign.
