Hartlepool United's honorary president Jeff Stelling believes Pools have "a completely different mentality" this season.
Lee Clark's side have enjoyed a strong start to their new National League campaign, beating well-fancied Barrow 2-0 on the opening day before getting the better of a spirited Aldershot Town outfit on Saturday.
Pools, who hadn't won at Aldershot's Recreation Ground since the 2020/21 campaign - which, incidentally, was the last time the club won promotion from the National League - had to show plenty of spirit, grit and determination in sweltering conditions in Hampshire.
