Jeff Stelling is "absolutely loving" life back as Hartlepool United's honorary president.

The legendary broadcaster and lifelong Pools fan returned to his role in February this year having previously resigned in May 2025 in protest at controversial former owner Raj Singh's handling of takeover negotiations.

Stelling, who is best known for spending almost 30 years as the host of the hugely popular Sky Sports football results show Gillette Soccer Saturday, has long been renowned for his passionate support of his hometown club and was first appointed president in 2015.

With Pools in a perilous financial position, Stelling played an important role in bringing Singh to the club in April 2018.
