Skipper Jack Hunter still believes Hartlepool United can win the National League title despite Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Sutton United.
Having won each of their opening two games without conceding, Pools were on the wrong end of their first defeat of the campaign at the hands of an extremely physical Sutton side in South London at the weekend.
After such an encouraging summer, welcoming 14 new signings to Victoria Park, as well as a positive start to the new season, Pools were brought back to earth with a thud on Saturday having failed to get to grips with a robust, combative and energetic Us outfit.
