Hartlepool United linked with move for National League North defender

Hartlepool United are rumoured to be among a number of clubs interested in signing King's Lynn Town defender Tom Wilson.
According to various social media reports, Pools have held "preliminary talks" with the 25-year-old but could face competition from the likes of Woking, Tamworth, Colchester, Newport and Barnsley.
Lee Clark's side are on the lookout for reinforcements in the heart of their defence. Although Pools can already call on Maxim Kouogun, so impressive last season, and Reiss McNally, while Jack Hunter can also fill in at the back if needed, the departure of skipper Tom Parkes means head of recruitment Chris Beech will likely be keen to bolster his defensive ranks.
