Hartlepool United are believed to be interested in a deal for Gateshead attacking-midfielder Harry Chapman, according to reports.
According to The Red Radio's Danny Cooper, a move for the Hartlepool-born Chapman could be completed as early as this week.
Chapman has been perennially linked with a move to Pools throughout his career and the 28-year-old was even invited to train with the squad last summer before signing for Gateshead.
The attacker came through the ranks at Middlesbrough and has spent time at the likes of Sheffield United, Blackburn Rovers, Shrewsbury Town, Bradford City and Barnet, scoring four goals in 22 games as the Bees were crowned National League champions in the 2024/25 campaign.
