Hartlepool United are interested in signing former Leicester City attacker Chris Popov, according to reports.
According to BBC Radio Tees Sport presenter and broadcaster Rob Law, Pools are working on a deal for the versatile forward but the club still have plenty to do to get it over the line.
The Wales under-21 international, who is also eligible to play for Bulgaria, came through the ranks at Manchester United before signing for Leicester in 2021, making his senior debut for the Foxes as a 73rd minute substitute in a 4-0 EFL Cup win over Tranmere Rovers three years later.
