Hartlepool United are "in the conversation" when it comes to National League title contenders next season, according to former Peterborough United, Hull City and Bradford City attacker Aaron McLean.
McLean, who has covered the National League for the likes of TNT Sports, BBC Sport and Sky Sports, believes Pools should be considered among next term's title contenders following a strong summer of recruitment.
Having released 13 players at the end of another underwhelming campaign in March, Pools look to have enjoyed an extremely productive summer and Lee Clark's side have already welcomed 10 new recruits to Victoria Park.
