Hartlepool United head coach Lee Clark has provided an update on Owen Hampson.

The young midfielder is the only one of the club's 11 summer signings not to have featured in pre-season so far but Clark confirmed he expects to have him back "in a few weeks".

The 21-year-old signed for Pools in June following his release by Sheffield United and is one of a whole host of new recruits with plenty of potential looking to make an impression at Victoria Park.
