Hartlepool United head coach Lee Clark has hailed Will Harris as "a natural goalscorer" after Pools fended off significant competition to sign the 25-year-old striker over the weekend.
Having struggled for goals throughout last season - Pools failed to score in 15 of their 49 games last term and were among the division's lowest scorers - Clark's side have set about on a complete overhaul of their attacking options this summer.
Indeed, Pools allowed leading scorer Alex Reid, who found the net 12 times in 41 matches last season, as well as forwards Danny Johnson, who failed to score in any of his 30 appearances, Vadaine Oliver, Sam Folarin and Adam Campbell to leave the club at the end of the campaign.
