New Hartlepool United attacker Jack Nolan revealed the chance to work under head coach Lee Clark was one of a number of factors that convinced him to sign for Pools.
The 25-year-old forward became the club's second summer signing, following in the footsteps of veteran striker Jordan Hugill as Pools look to build a squad capable of challenging for National League promotion.
Nolan was among the division's most sought after players this summer following a sensational campaign with strugglers Morecambe last season, scoring 19 goals and providing eight assists in 40 appearances.
Pools are understood to have fended off significant competition for the former England under-17 international, beating the likes of Rochdale and Oldham to his signature.
