Halifax Town manager John McGrath admits Will Harris "will be moving on" despite the Shaymen's claims that the club had exercised an option to extend the striker's contract after he signed for Hartlepool United.
In one of the most bizarre transfer sagas of the summer, Harris was announced as a Pools player last month after Lee Clark's side fended off significant competition to lure the 25-year-old to Victoria Park.
Having struggled for goals throughout last season - Pools were one of the National League's lowest scorers last term and failed to find the target in 15 of their 49 matches - a new number nine was right at the top of head of recruitment Chris Beech's summer wish list.
