Former Hartlepool United promotion-winner Brian Honour has been "very, very impressed" with the club's transfer business so far this summer.
Having released 13 players at the end of another underwhelming National League campaign, Pools have been working hard to assemble a squad capable of challenging for promotion next term.
While Pools still have plenty of work to do - a new number one goalkeeper is surely right at the top of head of recruitment Chris Beech's list of priorities - the early signs are good and Lee Clark's side have already welcomed 10 new recruits to Victoria Park this summer.
