Former Hartlepool United captain Tom Parkes has signed for fellow National League side Tamworth.
The veteran defender made 91 appearances at Victoria Park, scoring three goals, but was one of a whole host of players allowed to leave last month as part of a significant overhaul of new head coach Lee Clark's squad this summer.
The 34-year-old signed for Pools in January 2024 and made an immediate impression, forming a formidable partnership with Luke Waterfall.
