Hartlepool United have been linked with a move for attacking-midfielder Josh Hawkes.
According to reports circulating online and on social media, Pools are interested in bringing the 27-year-old back to Victoria Park on a permanent basis after he was transfer-listed by Oldham Athletic earlier this summer.
Hawkes, who was born in Stockton-on-Tees, came through the ranks at Pools and was drafted into the first team picture while he was still a scholar after catching the eye of then-manager Dave Jones before being handed his debut in February 2017.
