Hartlepool United winger Corey McKeown has revealed he is "absolutely loving" life at Victoria Park ahead of Friday's clash with Eastleigh.
The attacker was one of 14 summer signings having enjoyed an impressive spell with National League North outfit Spennymoor Town, scoring 19 goals in 90 games at The Brewery Field.
Indeed, McKeown knows Pools head coach Lee Clark well having been given his competitive debut by the 53-year-old while the pair were together at Blyth Spartans.
While the expectation is that the forward, who gave up a full-time job in order to sign for Pools, will need some time to make the step up from part-time football, the 24-year-old has made an encouraging start to life at Victoria Park.
