Hartlepool United legend Brian Honour said he was "incredibly proud" to have been appointed the club's matchday ambassador ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Honour, who made 384 appearances for Pools and helped the club win a memorable promotion in the 1990/91 campaign, is set to "play a key role in the matchday experience at Victoria Park throughout the season".
