Hartlepool United midfielder Nathan Sheron has called on Pools to "show a bit of character" following Tuesday night's disappointing 1-0 defeat to Halifax Town.
Pools, who were touted as possible National League promotion contenders ahead of the new campaign, have endured an extremely underwhelming start to the season, losing all of their last three matches.
Having kicked off the campaign with back-to-back victories over Barrow and Aldershot Town, Pools were well-beaten by a physical Sutton United side before Nelson Khumbeni's superb 97th minute strike condemned them to an agonising late defeat at home to Eastleigh on Friday.
