Hartlepool United made a winning start to their pre-season campaign, beating Northern League Division Two side Seaton Carew 3-0 on Saturday.
Following what feels like an extremely encouraging summer so far under new owner Landon Smith, Pools kicked off what many fans hope will be an exciting new era in steady if unspectacular fashion.
New head coach Lee Clark fielded two separate XIs, with debuts for nine of the club's summer signings while several trialists also featured.
Pools, who were playing in their new home kit for the first time after its official release earlier in the week, took the lead midway through the opening period when Will Harris headed home Jamie Miley's free-kick.
