Hartlepool United have made three changes ahead of Friday night's visit of Eastleigh.

Pools, who are bidding to bounce back from Saturday's disappointing defeat to Sutton United, look set to revert to a 4-4-2 formation against a Spitfires side who have won two of their opening three National League matches this term.

Having missed last week's defeat in South London through injury, Chelsea loanee Max Merrick returns to the side in goal and will be looking to keep his third clean sheet in three appearances.

Nathan Fisher, who endured a difficult time deputising for Merrick at Gander Green Lane, drops to the bench.
