Hartlepool United have made five changes ahead of Tuesday night's trip to Halifax Town.

Pools, who are looking to bounce back following successive defeats at the hands of Sutton United and Eastleigh, will be hoping for a much-improved performance against a Halifax side who have lost three of their opening four National League matches this term.

Jack Nolan, who made a welcome return from injury against Eastleigh on Friday, Nathan Sheron, Cameron John, Liam Gibson and Jordan Hugill, set for his first competitive start since sealing a summer return to the North East, all feature from the start as Lee Clark's team look to keep pace with some of their potential promotion rivals.
