Hartlepool United president Jeff Stelling reflects on relationship with controversial former owner Raj Singh

Stelling, who has long been renowned for his passionate support of his hometown club, resigned from his role as club president in May last year in protest at Singh's handling of takeover negotiations before returning to the position under new owner Landon Smith.

The broadcaster and presenter, who spent 29 years as the host of the hugely successful Sky Sports show Gillette Soccer Saturday, played an influential role in bringing Singh to the club in 2018.
