Hartlepool United have completed the signing of attacking-midfielder Jack Earing, who arrives on an initial short-term loan deal from fellow National League side Barrow.

The 27-year-old becomes new head coach Pete Wild's first signing since his appointment earlier this month as Pools look to end a dismal run of six successive defeats.

Pools, who are currently languishing in the National League relegation zone having lost nine of their last 10 games, are understood to be working to bolster their squad, with Wild telling BBC Radio Tees Sport he was hopeful of welcoming several new additions.
