Hartlepool United head coach Lee Clark admits he's delighted with his "terrific" squad.
Having released 13 players at the end of another underwhelming National League campaign in May, Pools have welcomed 14 new recruits to Victoria Park this summer as Clark bids to build a squad capable of challenging for promotion back to the Football League next season.
Pools appear to have strengthened in almost every department, signing prolific striker Will Harris, who scored 25 goals in 46 games for Halifax Town last season, highly rated attacker Jack Nolan, fresh from an outstanding individual campaign with Morecambe, veteran Jordan Hugill, versatile defender Cameron John, Chelsea goalkeeper Max Merrick, former Leicester City prospect Chris Popov as well as a whole host of other new additions including a number of young players with plenty of potential.
