Hartlepool United head coach Lee Clark has backed Neo Eccleston to make a big impact at Victoria Park following an encouraging pre-season.
Eccleston, one of 14 new arrivals this summer, has been one of the best performers in recent weeks and produced an excellent display down the right flank as Pools beat League Two side Fleetwood Town 1-0 in their final warm-up game on Saturday.
Pools are now gearing up to begin their National League campaign against one of Eccleston's former sides at the weekend as Clark and his team bid to challenge for promotion back to the Football League.
Certainly, Eccleston will be hoping to impress when Pools entertain a Barrow side who were relegated from League Two last term having made 21 appearances during a loan stint at Holker Street in the 2024/25 season.
