Hartlepool United head coach Lee Clark admits he's "absolutely buzzing" ahead of Saturday's National League season opener against Barrow.
Pools are set to get the new campaign underway at the weekend with the visit of a Bluebirds side who have undergone a summer of change having been relegated from League Two last term.
The Cumbrian outfit endured a hugely challenging campaign last season and used a staggering five different managers, succumbing to relegation following a six-year stay in the Football League.
Yet the appointment of Adam Murray, who led Kidderminster Harriers to promotion via the National League North play-offs last term, as well as a positive summer in the transfer market has seen optimism and confidence steadily restored to Holker Street.
