Hartlepool United owner Landon Smith has been full of praise for Bromby and Partners as Pools gear up for the 2026/27 season.

The American businessman and investor, who is the co-founder of real estate company Tailwind Group, hired Bromby and Partners, a specialist football consultancy firm, in March to provide "strategic oversight and operational support as part of a structured plan in the club's football operations".

Unlike controversial former owner Raj Singh, who tended to dominate the decision-making process at Victoria Park, Smith has proved comfortable delegating since completing his takeover of the club on New Year's Eve.
